Yesterday, Dr Carl O Helvie, Host of the Holistic Health Show, interviewed Dr Marvin Meyer, International Expert on the gnostic gospels. The interview is placed below for your enjoyment and information. This is my late Christmas show in which I always try to find an interesting discussion of Jesus.
Dr Meyer is the Griset Professor of Bible and Christian Studies and Co-Chair of the Department of Religious Studies, at Chapman University. He has published numerous books including the gnostic gospels on Mary, Thomas, Judas, Mark, and Jesus and the gospel Bible.
His books and articles have been translated into Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Japanese, and the Gospel of Thomas, of which his is the standard edition, has been listed as one of the 100 best Spiritual Books of the 20th Century. He has been interviewed on television programs including ABC, BBC, A&E, the History Channel, and Odyssey, and on radio programs that include BBS radio, National Public Radio, and the Voice of America. The second in two special programs for the New Year on predictions for 2011 will include interviews with Phyllis Pricer (pictured) and Annette Castellano by Dr Carl O Helvie, Host, Holistic Health Show.
Phyllis Pricer is a certified master hypnotherapist , a practitioner of jin shin jyutsuy, a medium and a psychic. She has worked in the health care field and is an entrepreneur with many years of experience in the business world. She does individual psychic readings, hypnosis, and spiritual counseling.

Annette holds a pre-law degree with a background in Human Resource Management, and is a Washington State certified mediator. On Saturday Dr Carl O Helvie, Host, Holistic Health Show, will interview Dr Jude Unegbu a resident shaman and healer at Beneveda Medical Group in Beverly Hills, California. Jude has been a spiritual healer for more than 16 years.
Born in West Africa he trained under his shaman grandfather who healed people afflicted with a wide variety of physical illnesses. Jude’s spiritual learning was enhanced by the healing techniques he learned from Sir George King, Founder of the Aetherius Society.
Combining his knowledge of African shamanism and the King techniques Jude’s healing procedures utilize all of the major chakra or energy centers to fill the body with spiritual energy and to drive out illnesses. He can help with mental and emotional problems as well as physical ailments.
Some of the conditions he has successfully worked with include depression, anxiety attacks, epilepsy, leprosy, ADD, high blood pressure, back pain, body injuries, cancer, stomach problems, sleep disorders, addiction, relationship issues, job issues, and elemental attachments (popularly known as ghost attachments). Jude also finds spiritual healing is effective for a variety of childhood issues including depression, ADD, OCD, autism, epilepsy, and sleep issues. He blesses homes, offices, and animals to rid them of negative influences.
Jude lectures at colleges and private institutions about health, earth changes, and protective practices. He also teaches spiritual healing techniques and offers spiritual healing at hospitals, and in private practice.

My second guest is Pastor Deb Ling who lives in Sacramento, California where she is an active part of her church body.
She has been writing since high school starting with a monthly newspaper and later starting one of her own. In addition to writing articles online, she has two books for sale online. The first book The Walking Wounded is a book for women on healing the wounds from the past and walks women through healing from past abuse using information the Lord provided when she was suffering from abuse. Her second book is Prophetic Dance which is about prophetic dancing as given by the Lord and how to use it for him. She is currently writing another book on the Healing Wounded that will be for men.
Deb has been healed of migraine headaches of 21 years through her faith . During that period she lost jobs often because of the headaches. Since recovery she has become a pastor and helps others overcome hardships with spiritual healing. And counseling. More information is available at:

My first guest is Dr Francisco Contreras, whose father, the late Dr. Ernesto Contreras, Sr. opened the Oasis of Hope Hospital in 1963 and initiated what would become a healing tradition known as the Total Cancer Care Approach. Dr. Contreras is recognized in multiple publications as a pioneer in body, mind, and spirit medicine. At the foundation of his philosophy were two principles inspired by Hippocrates, the father of medicine, and Jesus Christ, The Great Physician: 1) First, do no harm; 2) Love your patient as you love yourself.
Because of his philosophy, Dr. Contreras taught his medical staff to never prescribe treatments that would destroy the quality of life of the patient. He also insisted that Oasis of Hope physicians offer therapies that they would be willing to take if in the same circumstances. My second guest is Deborah Wofford who will share what God did for her. At age 12 she was raped and became pregnant and had an abortion. Since then she was on a tale spin. She desperately wanted love because she did not get it at home and did not know how to love herself. Every relationship she was in had some form of abuse that caused her to have low self-esteem. She was married for 10 years and her husband stabbed her 12 times with a hunting knife and she was pronounced dead. But her encounter with God changed her life. Spirituality, Faith and Healing are the subjects of the next series on the Holistic Health Show. Dr Bernie Siegel and Dr Harold Koenig were selected for the opening of this series but because of the length of the interviews they will be scheduled separately for this and the next show. On this show, Dr Carl O Helvie, Host, will interview Dr Siegel and Leslie Davenport.
Dr Bernie Siegel who prefers to be called Bernie is known internationally and consequently needs no introduction to many throughout the world and has touched the lives of many of those. In 1979, he began to talk about patient empowerment and the choice to live fully and die in peace. As a physician, who has cared for and counseled innumerable people who’s mortality has been threatened by an illness, Bernie embraces a philosophy of living and dying that stands at the forefront of the medical ethics and spiritual issues our society grapples with today. He continues to assist in the breaking of new ground in the field of healing and personality struggling to live the message of kindness and love.
Bernie attended Colgate University and Cornell University Medical College and holds membership in two scholastic honor societies, Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha and graduated with honors. His surgical training took place at Yale New Haven Hospital, West Haven Veteran’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. He retired from practice as an assistant clinical professor of surgery at Yale of general and pediatric surgery in 1989 to speak with patients and their caregivers.
In 1979 he originated Exceptional Cancer Patients, a specific form of individual and group therapy utilizing patients; drawings, dreams, images and feelings. The physical, spiritual and psychological benefits that followed led to his desire to make everyone aware of his or her healing potential.
In 1986 his first book, Love Medicine & Miracles was published and this redirected his life. In 1989, Peace, Love & Healing and in 1993 How to Live Between Office Visits followed. In 1998, Prescriptions for Living, was published and in 2003, Help Me to Heal and 365 Prescriptions for the Soul followed.
