Guests of Dr Carl O Helvie, Host, the Holistic Health Show on Saturday will be Dr Murray Grossan, Dr Stephen Morrissey, and Dr Bianca Garilli.
Dr Grossan, is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery and is currently at Cedars-Sinai Medical Towers in Los Angeles. He completed Medical School at the University of Georgia in 1949 and completed his Residency in the early 1950’s at NYU-Bellevue (At that time, I was a Staff and later Head Nurse at Bellevue although we did not know each other at the time). He has held various positions in his field of practice including Medical Examiner, and medical staff at different hospitals, and served as consultant to the Los Angeles District Attorney, U.S. Department of Labor, Freemont Insurance, Los Angeles City and others, and was awarded a Certificate of Merit for the Scientific Exhibit “Nasal Mucocilliary Flow” by the American Medical Association. Dr Grossan is author of numerous articles in professional journals in the areas of nasal function, throat scuba diving, tinnitus, headache, and temperomandibular joint disease and has published an ebook and most recently a book titled Free Yourself from Sinus and Allergy Problems Permanently

My second guest, Dr Steven Morrissey has a doctorate in Oriental Medicine and more than 25 years of clinical experience with herbal medicines, homeopathy, and nutrition. He has made over 30 trips to China where he established two joint venture companies to undertake research on safety, efficacy and the quality of botanical medicines and GMP botanical manufacturing. Guests for the upcoming Holistic Health Show left to right are: Dr Allan Stillerman, Dr Terrawong Kasiolarn, and Mr Dan Chapman.
Dr Stillerman grew up in South Africa and graduated from the University of Witwatersrand Medical School in Johannesburg and came to the United States in 1977 where he completed his internship and residency in pediatrics, and fellowships in allergy and clinical immunology, pediatric pulmonary disease and pediatric clinical pharmacology. He joined the Allergy & Asthma Specialists, P.A. in 1998. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, and Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; a Fellow in the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, a member of the American Thoracic society; and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine, U of Minnesota, and Department of Medicine: Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care and frequently instructs medical students and residents on clinical management of asthma and allergy diseases. He also lectures extensively both regionally and nationally in the fields of asthma, food allergy, anaphylaxis and allergic rhino-conjunctivitis. He serves on an advisory board of pharmaceutical companies on these conditions.
Dr Stillerman conducts research at the Clinical Research Institute, Inc of Minneapolis and Plymouth as a Principal Investigator in the fields of asthma and clinical rhino-conjunctivitis. He is a medical advisor to the Board of Anaphylaxis and Food Allergy Association of Minnesota and has testified in the Minnesota Senate and House of Representative.

Dr Kasiolarn is a Certified Naturopathic Physician with additional certifications in Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine. He received his baccalaureate degree with honors in biochemistry from Arizona State University and his doctorate in naturopathic medicine and masters in acupuncture in 2005 from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. He is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).

Dr Carl O Helvie, Host, will interview Dr Dobri Kiprov and Dr Ann Lovick on the Holistic Health Show on Saturday.
Dobri Kiprov, M.D. is a pioneer in the field of immunology and Chief of Immunology at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. He is a world renown immunologist and one of the first physicians in the United States to complete a formal fellowship program in Clinical Immunology and Immunopathology (Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School). He has numerous publications on immunology and published the first description of new immunological related syndromes.

Ann Lovick, NMD, is a naturopathic physician who is on the staff of Integrative Health Care in Scottsdale, Arizona and has been an allergy suffer all of her life. Dr Carl O Helvie, Host will interview Dr Fred Pescatore and Dr Lauren Feder on Saturday. Dr Pescatore , M.D. is a traditionally trained physician who also holds a Masters of Public Health and who practices nutritional medicine. He is the author of the best selling book, Thin For Good, and the number one best selling children’s health book Feed Your Kids Well. On this show I will complete the series on back pain and start a new series on seasonal allergies.
My guests for Saturday, June 26 on the Holistic Health Show are Dr Steven Y. Park (left), Lou Paradise (right), and Kathi Casey (lower right).
Dr Park is an otolaryngologist, surgeon, and author of the book Sleep, Interrupted: A Physician Reveals The # 1 Reason Why So Many of Us Are Sick and Tired His book has been endorsed by the New York Times best-selling authors Christina Northrup,M.D., Dean Orish, M.D., Mark Liponis, M.D., and Mary Shomon. Dr Park is a Clinical Assistant Professor of otolaryngologist at the New York Medical College.
Steve practices integrative medicine and surgery, with a firm belief that other models of health and disease can complement traditional, western medicine. He provides monthly live tele-seminars with experts not only related to his field but also professionals in other areas-he has interviewed acupuncturist, dieticians, and neuro-linguistic programming and hypnosis experts in the past. He believes that treating the whole person including diet, lifestyle, stresses and emotional states, rather than focusing on one single symptom or area of the body is important. Mr Paradise is the Founder and Chief of Research of Topical Biomedics, a successful company producing natural solutions for pain management. Lou is a Marine Corp helicopter combat and rescue veteran serving two rotations in Viet Nahm. He is very modest about his combat service but his many decorations are for bravery in combat and rescue missions of wounded soldiers, and fellow Marines and for humanitarian rescues of Vietnamese civilians.
During these missions he developed carpal tunnel syndrome that caused severe pain. Using his knowledge of homeopathy, natural medicine, physiology, herbal medicine, and other natural healing modalities he self experimented for relief of his pain. Herbal medicine did not work and homeopathic medicine did slightly. Using his intuitive ability he decided to combine some homeopathic medications and began to see improvement.
