Dr Koenig, one of the two lead interviews on the Spirituality, Faith and Healing series is internationally known for his research, writing and lecturing in this field of practice. He is currently Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and Associate professor of Medicine at Duke University and is also a registered nurse. He is founding co-director of the Center for Spirituality, Theology, and Health at Duke and has published around 350 articles in peer reviewed journals, and nearly 40 books. He has appeared on over 50 national and international television programs, over 100 national or international radio programs, and been interviewed in hundreds of national and international newspapers and magazines.
