Dr Dean Shrock and Michelle Renee to be Guest on the Holistic Health Show

On Saturday, Dr Carl O Helvie, Host, will interview Dr Dean Shrock and Michelle Renee on the Holistic Health Show.

Dr Dean Shrock is a licensed psychologist who served as Director of Mind-Body Medicine for a physician management group of 40 cancer patients for many years. Here he discovered that his patients lived longer than others receiving conventional treatment and concluded that the difference was that they felt loved and cared for. His doctoral dissertation was on guided imagery and this fits in nicely with his interest in spirituality. He has since dedicated his life to writing and teaching how to find your own true joy, greater health, and a deeper sense of inner love.

Michelle Renee has gone from the streets as a teen runaway to becoming a successful entrepreneur, author, speaker, and activist. Her journey has been filled with heartbreaking violence and uplifting, inspiring success. Her story and message is one of a mother’s love, courage, determination, and resiliency.

Leaving behind emotional and physical abuse, Michelle Renee became a homeless runaway at age 15. Determined to make a life for herself, she climbed the corporate ladder to become an Assistant Vice President/Executive Banker by the time she was 30. Her career ambitions were shattered when three masked gunmen broke the door to her home down, held her and only child hostage for 14 hours, taped explosives to their bodies and forced Michelle to rob the bank she managed to save their lives.

It was in those 14 hours held hostage, as she was preparing to die, that Michelle knew it was time to heal her life…all of it. It was time to face all that had been holding her hostage for as long as she could remember.

In the aftermath of the violent home invasion kidnapping, hostage, and bank robbery ordeal, Michelle chose to follow her dream of becoming an entrepreneur and PR Specialist. She, while awaiting the criminal trial of their attackers, returned to college at the University of Alaska Anchorage at age 35 enrolling in Communications courses with an emphasis on public relations.

Yesterday, Dr Carl O Helvie, Host of the Holistic Health Show, interviewed Dr Marvin Meyer, International Expert on the gnostic gospels. The interview is placed below for your enjoyment and information. This is my late Christmas show in which I always try to find an interesting discussion of Jesus.

Dr Meyer is the Griset Professor of Bible and Christian Studies and Co-Chair of the Department of Religious Studies, at Chapman University. He has published numerous books including the gnostic gospels on Mary, Thomas, Judas, Mark, and Jesus and the gospel Bible.
His books and articles have been translated into Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Japanese, and the Gospel of Thomas, of which his is the standard edition, has been listed as one of the 100 best Spiritual Books of the 20th Century. He has been interviewed on television programs including ABC, BBC, A&E, the History Channel, and Odyssey, and on radio programs that include BBS radio, National Public Radio, and the Voice of America. Dr Jude Unegbu and Pastor Deb Ling to be Guests on the Holistic Health Show

On Saturday Dr Carl O Helvie, Host, Holistic Health Show, will interview Dr Jude Unegbu a resident shaman and healer at Beneveda Medical Group in Beverly Hills, California. Jude has been a spiritual healer for more than 16 years.
Born in West Africa he trained under his shaman grandfather who healed people afflicted with a wide variety of physical illnesses. Jude’s spiritual learning was enhanced by the healing techniques he learned from Sir George King, Founder of the Aetherius Society.
Combining his knowledge of African shamanism and the King techniques Jude’s healing procedures utilize all of the major chakra or energy centers to fill the body with spiritual energy and to drive out illnesses. He can help with mental and emotional problems as well as physical ailments.
Some of the conditions he has successfully worked with include depression, anxiety attacks, epilepsy, leprosy, ADD, high blood pressure, back pain, body injuries, cancer, stomach problems, sleep disorders, addiction, relationship issues, job issues, and elemental attachments (popularly known as ghost attachments). Jude also finds spiritual healing is effective for a variety of childhood issues including depression, ADD, OCD, autism, epilepsy, and sleep issues. He blesses homes, offices, and animals to rid them of negative influences.
Jude lectures at colleges and private institutions about health, earth changes, and protective practices. He also teaches spiritual healing techniques and offers spiritual healing at hospitals, and in private practice.

My second guest is Pastor Deb Ling who lives in Sacramento, California where she is an active part of her church body.
She has been writing since high school starting with a monthly newspaper and later starting one of her own. In addition to writing articles online, she has two books for sale online. The first book The Walking Wounded is a book for women on healing the wounds from the past and walks women through healing from past abuse using information the Lord provided when she was suffering from abuse. Her second book is Prophetic Dance which is about prophetic dancing as given by the Lord and how to use it for him. She is currently writing another book on the Healing Wounded that will be for men.
Deb has been healed of migraine headaches of 21 years through her faith . During that period she lost jobs often because of the headaches. Since recovery she has become a pastor and helps others overcome hardships with spiritual healing. And counseling. More information is available at:

On Saturday, August 15 Dr Carl O Helvie, Host of the Holistic Health Show, interviewed Dr Adam Perlman (top left), Dr Timothy Birdsall (top right) and Mrs Kelly Swobode (lower right). Dr Perlman is Medical Director of Integrative Medicine at the St Barnabas Health Care System and Medical Director of the Carol and Morton Siegler Center for Integrative Medicine in Livingston, New Jersey. The Center provides a comprehensive traditional and integrative treatment program for cancer patients.
