Tips on Yoga

On Saturday, Padma talked with us about yoga. Although yoga has been researched and found to alleviate conditions ranging from constipation, gas pain, sunken chest, round shoulders, bursitis and back pain, it is mainly a preventive system to keep the body and mind healthy. As discussed by Padma continuing to do daily yoga can lead to being able to do head and shoulder stand as well as other postures into your 80’s.

Yoga should begin with a warm up session. These may be stretching, tensing, flexing, or balancing exercises.
