Guests for Next Week are Jeffrey Anshel, M.D. (eye health) and Stefan Pinto (weight loss).

My first guest, Dr. Jeffrey Anshel, OD, FAAO, (left) is a 1975 graduate from the Illinois College of Optometry.  He has written numerous articles and five books regarding nutritional influences on vision and computer vision concerns. Dr. Anshel is the principal of Corporate Vision Consulting, where he addresses the issues surrounding visual demands while working with computers. He lectures nationally to eye care providers on nutrition topics. Dr. Anshel is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and Founder and President of the Ocular Nutrition Society. He maintains a private practice in Carlsbad, CA.

My second guest, Stefan Pinto, (before and after picture) lost 60 pounds, became a model and now helps others loose weight. He says: Your listeners may be interested in a fun, healthy and progressive “pound shedding” project that uses only Facebook and a camera phone. So far, over 28,000 photos of food have been submitted by participants. Called the C Diet® – (the C stands for choice), participants submit a photo of every, single meal they are about to consume and must indicate if their choice was based on convenience, calories, cost or a combination of all three. The project is supported by major supermarket brands which send the participant full product as an incentive to motivate them (a symbiotic gesture as the participants end up becoming customers of the brand. Like!). There are 20 brands supporting. If you think your listeners would be interested in knowing about the psychology behind the program, or just other information, I am happy to provide an interview. I used to be overweight; lost 60lbs and became a male model
