Saturday, September 23rd, 2017

A profound near-death experience enhanced what author, healer and spiritual teacher Alex Hermosillo (HER-MO-SEE-OH) was already born with —a unique gift to heal. To date, he has helped over 7,000 people dealing with physical ,   emotional, spiritual illness or chronic pain, often with miraculous and spontaneous results. His new book, A True Story of the HOPE, HEALING and MIRACLES details his extraordinary journey to Heaven, Angelic encounters and miraculous healing abilities, along with inspiring client success stories and take home techniques that anyone can do. He is the founder and creator  of Mastery of Energy Healing, a simple, non-invasive healing technique that helps individuals return to their natural state of health, well -being, and joy. Alex also teaches healing    practitioners, nurses, physicians and anyone interested in healing. With love,

compassion and a light heart , Alex provides guidance from his innate connection with the Angelic and Heavenly realms, and shares with us now how to tap into our God-given ability to heal ourselves and assist others in healing, so we all may experience a peaceful happy and heal thy life, what he calls “Heaven on Earth.”

Alex has had profound healing and spiritual experiences in his life. In 1996, the gift of healing was awakened within him when a woman handed her dying baby girl to him and she spontaneously healed. Soon after, another gift was given to

Alex through a near-death experience in a hospital emergency room where he learned there is no death—only a new beginning. Now, he is one of the most highly sought after spiritual healers and teachers in the world. For over ten years, Alex has been offering energy-healing services and has assisted in healing from ailments, including heart disease, cancer, tumors, chronic migraines, grief, depression, and much more. He is the founder of Mastery of Energy Healing, a healing center located in Phoenix, AZ and in addition to his book that chronological his life experiences and the wisdom he gained on ‘the other side,’ he also recorded a therapeutic audio meditation CD, “Meditation to Heal your Mind, Body & Spirit: I Now Release, I Now Bring In.”

With the gift that was given to Alex, along with his experiences of healing, research and dedication, he developed a quick, simple and effective energy healing method called, Mastery of Energy Healing (M.E.H.). M.E.H. is a gentle, non-invasive healing technique that assists individuals in releasing the energies and memories of non-nurturing thoughts, emotions and patterns that cause illness. Through the MEH releasing process, individuals experience a release

of anxiety, stress, worries, fear, confusion, and aches and pains, allowing for greater clarity, peace of mind and relief from symptoms of illness.

This simple yet powerful technique allows an individual to heal emotionally, mentally and physically. With great devotion to humanity, Alex touches the lives of thousands through his one-on-one private sessions, group sessions, healing prayer requests, lectures and classes. He travels nationally, as well as offers his services from his home base in Phoenix, Arizona, U.S.A. He has presented at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, the International Association for

Near-Death Studies, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Southern Arizona Veterans Health Care System and the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. He has been featured on Fox 10 News, ABC-15, and CBS-5 (Phoenix), and more. More information at: www.masteryofenergyhealing.com

Twenty Two Year Stage II Hodgkins Lymphoma Survivor, Roslyn Franken

Sunday, September 10th, 2017

Roslyn Franken is a passionate inspirational speaker, author and proud cancer survivor who knows about the power of positivism and emotional resilience in the face of adversity. Her mother survived the concentration camps of Nazi Europe and her father survived the Nagasaki atomic bomb as a prisoner of war in Japan. At age 56, her mother was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer and with an amazing “Keep Going” attitude lived for 21 years when she was only given two years tops to live. Her father suffered a massive heart attack at age 67 and with his “Never give up” attitude lived till age 94 when he was told he would be lucky if he made it to 82. When diagnosed with cancer at only 29, Roslyn turned to her parents’ positive “Keep going” and  “Never Give Up” attitude as inspiration in her fight to beat cancer and become a long-time survivor.
At 39, ten years after surviving cancer, and at her heaviest weight, Roslyn had enough. She decided that as a cancer survivor she could not allow herself to continue gaining weight and potentially putting herself at risk of cancer and other often diet, lifestyle and weight-related diseases. How she lost the weight and changed her life is outlined in her easy-to-read and easy-to-follow self-help book, The A List: 9 Guiding Principles for Healthy Eating and Positive Living.
In giving presentations about THE A LIST  book, Roslyn mentioned her parents’ life as well as her cancer journey that both inspired her path to weight loss and improved self-care. People were so inspired by these brief mentions that they wanted to hear more.

And so, Roslyn set to task once again and wrote her second book entitled MEANT TO BE: A TRUE STORY OF MIGHT, MIRACLES AND TRIUMPH OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT.  In this book, Roslyn reveals the true story of her parents amazing survival, resilience and triumph as unlikely Holocaust and Atomic bomb survivors who find true love against all odds and overcome life-threatening health issues later in life. She also includes the profound lessons she learned from her parents about survival, resilience and positive mental attitude while fighting to survive cancer at the young age of 29.

A documentary was made about her parents’ story and Roslyn’s book, Meant to Be, is currently being adapted for production as a feature film.

As a professional inspirational speaker, Roslyn  delivers a heartfelt presentation to share highlights from her book, Meant to Be. She speaks for conferences, student events, community events, faith-based / religious events, senior groups, fundraiser / charity events, banquets / galas and other group events.

Roslyn is also co-author of Death Can Wait: Stories from Cancer Survivors, a fundraising book for cancer research and cancer patient programs.

She has been a guest on numerous television and radio shows and featured in newspapers and magazines across North America and abroad.

She has a Masters degree in Human Systems Intervention (the study of how people self-learn and change as individuals and in groups) from Concordia University in Montreal,

38 Year Cervical Cancer Survivor Jann Holden Used Natural Interventions

Sunday, July 30th, 2017

My first guest  Saturday, Jann Holden is a 38 year Stage 4 Cervical Cancer Survivor who through a strong determination, REIKI. and diet change overcome cancer without chemo, surgery or radiation. She is an  Ordained Minister, REIKI Master, EFT Coach,  Tuning Fork & Sound Therapist with over 35 years experience in my field.  I offer doTerra essential oil products as well as Nikken Magnetic products. I also offer advise on dietary changes, and supplements you may be lacking.  Hair analysis and saliva testing are also available thru my office, as well as ph testing and iodine deficiency tests.

She is very passionate about energy healing, REIKI in particular.  Much against my families wishes, I did not use the conventional methods of chemotherapy, radiation or surgery for my cancer.  Instead I took a class in REIKI and learned to work on myself.  Later I went on to become a REIKI Master. My work is now aimed at making a difference in other people’s lives as well, whether physically, emotionally or spiritually.

REIKI is a hands on modality that balances the energy of the body, allowing the healing process to take place.  My specialty is distant REIKI where I work off a picture or even just a name.  REIKI can be used on animals, and literally anything with “energy”. I have actually fixed machines!

One thing people must realize is that I am a facilitator to the healing process, not a healer. REIKI is not a religion and you do not have to believe in it.  The actual healing work is done by the person requesting the healing thru their intent and often dietary and lifestyle changes.

Although REIKI cannot always physically heal everyone, it does make a difference on other levels, meaning mentally, emotionally or spiritually.  It is especially helpful to the terminally ill, making their transitioning easier, more comfortable and acceptable to them.

I offer many other modalities as well, including EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques or tapping), Sound/Vibrational Therapies including OHM and color tuning forks, drumming, singing bowls, and I use crystals, orgonite and pendulums in my work.  I also offer Ear Candling, and Magnetic Therapy and roll-outs. I often combine some of these techniques.  Please see descriptions on each of these modalities.  My special is a combo tuning fork/REIKI session with special deep relaxation music and colored lights.  I call this “THE WORKS”.

My husband and I have been married for 40 years and own a small ranch in the foothills of Red Bluff, CA.  I have 2 sons and 6 grandkids that all live back near Chicago.

I enjoy trail riding on my horse, bike riding, camping,  gardening, country western dancing, gourmet cooking, and I am an avid reader.  Of course, my passion is healing work.More information is available at: http://jannholden.webs.com/aboutme.htm

An International Alternative Cancer Leader, Frank Wiewel, Interviewed.

Sunday, July 2nd, 2017

For nearly 40 years, Frank Wiewel and his wife Denise have led the struggle for medical freedom in America and throughout the world. Frank was a successful Columbia Records recording artist, engineer and producer. In July 1985, he happened to be in Freeport, Bahamas, accompanying his sick father-in-law, when the Bahamian government, at the instigation of the United States National Cancer Institute (NCI) shut down Dr Lawrence Burton’s (IAT) cancer clinic.

The IAT patients organized and asked Frank to become first president of their association. Frank and Denise led them in a march on Washington and drafted the petition for an evaluation of innovative therapies, signed by 43 Congressmen. Frank was the original requestor of this Office of Technology Assessment (OTA) study entitled, Alternative Cancer Therapies and testified at the Congressional Hearings. Frank led site visits to clinics being researched by OTA and the IAT Clinic was reopened.

In 1986, Frank and his wife Denise founded People Against Cancer and organized The International Coalition for the Evaluation of Alternative Cancer Therapies. It was largely through such efforts, including bitter struggles over three years that the OTA report was re-written and made into a useful document for Congress and the public. In conversations with thousands of people with cancer, health activists, as well as over 50 members of Congress; guest appearances on Design for Living, Natural Living, For the People, and other radio programs; prominently featured interviews in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Des Moines Register, Scientific American, Science, East West, etc; and publications in the Journal of the American Medical Association and the International Association of Cancer Victors and Friends (IACVF) Journal, Frank has tirelessly fought for the fair testing of innovative, non toxic cancer therapies.

In 1993, Frank was a founding member of the Office of Alternative Medicine (OAM) in the National Institutes of Health (NIH). In 1994, Frank was chosen to be the Chairman of the Pharmacological and Biological Treatments Committee and chosen to serve a four-year term on the National Advisory Board of the Office of Alternative Medicine. Scientific American wrote, “The Establishment of the Office of Alternative Medicine (OAM) constitutes a victory for Frank Wiewel.”

Through People Against Cancer, Frank has created and administrates the Alternative Therapy Research Program (ATRP), a program to evaluate treatment options for people with cancer and physicians. Frank has also created and organized the International Physicians Network (IPN) to provide innovative treatment options for people with cancer. In 1996, Frank launched the Alternative Therapy Evaluation Program (ATEP) to conduct scientific evaluations, both retrospective and prospective, of innovative treatments for cancer worldwide.

Frank has been called “The most powerful independent voice in the field of cancer.” He is the editor of a critically acclaimed newsletter: Options: New Directions in the War on Cancer.  “The most revolutionary document published in the field of cancer – the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.” Options remains the only independent newsletter in the field published without outside influence or advertisements.

Frank remains People Against Cancer’s founding executive and runs this grassroots organization from his base in Otho, Iowa (pop. 650), where he lives with his wife, Denise and their daughters Megan and Allison. More information is available at: http://www.peopleagainstcancer.org/

Dr Sandra Goodman/Positive Health/Nutrition & Cancer

Sunday, June 18th, 2017

Sandra Goodman PhD, Co-founder and Editor of Positive Health PH Online, trained as a Molecular Biology scientist in Agricultural Biotechnology in Canada and the USA. Sandra was born and grew up in Montreal, Canada, a highly cosmopolitan city in Quebec, subject to the political tensions of the Canadian French and English divide. In addition to focusing upon her academic studies in the arts and sciences, Sandra was also a talented pianist and athlete, particularly in gymnastics. Having qualified as a Red Cross swimming instructor and Royal Lifesaving Society lifeguard, she greatly enjoyed teaching young adults and children to swim and overcome their fear of the water.

Sandra graduated with her PhD in Molecular Biology from McGill University with her Thesis: Expression of host genes in soybean root nodules, research attempting to identify nitrogen fixation genes in a legume, with an ultimate goal of being able to transfer such genes to non-legumes and reduce the requirement for fertilizer. Dr Goodman worked for a Multi-National Corporation in the USA as a Biotechnology Scientist until the mid-1980s, eventually traveling and settling in the UK focusing upon health issues. Author of 4 books regarding the role of Nutrition in empowering optimum health, including Nutrition and Cancer: State-of-the-Art, Vitamin C – The Master Nutrient, Germanium: The Health and Life Enhancer and numerous articles, Dr Goodman was the lead author of the Consensus Document: Nutritional and LifeStyle Guidelines for People with Cancer and compiled the Cancer and Nutrition Database for the Bristol Cancer Help Centre in 1993.

The catastrophic but flawed research paper in The Lancet in the early 1990s alleging that women with breast cancer attending the Bristol Cancer Help Centre (BCHC) were more likely to die than those undergoing conventional treatment almost led to the closure of BCHC. Having authored a scholarly article Nutritional and Lifestyle Guidelines for People with Cancer, Dr Goodman was then commissioned in the early 1990s to set up a Cancer and Nutrition database which would identify the published research papers in this field.

During the compilation of this database, drawn from some 5000 peer-reviewed research papers, it was suggested by Sandra’s long-term partner Mike Howell that there was a lack of communication of this type of research both to health professionals and the serious general reader of health information. Thus was born Positive Health magazine PH Online, which has now published over 237 issues (the print magazine ceased after Issue 150); the entire archive is exclusively online at www.positivehealth.com

Dr Goodman has worked for the past 22+ years as a co-founder and Editor of Positive Health PH Online in attempting to show that there is no divide between different types of healthcare, just different approaches, i.e. Integrated Medicine. She is passionate about making available to all people, particularly those with cancer,  research information and clinical expertise in the areas of Nutrition and Complementary Therapies. She has been a member of the Therapy Advisory Panel of the Penny Brohn Cancer Care, Scientific Expert Committee member of the Alliance for Natural Health and a Patron of the Avalon Complementary Medicine Trust in Wells, Somerset. Her recent (Oct 2014) Research Proposal: Cancer Patients’ Outcomes: Comparing Integrated Alternative Therapies and Chemotherapy / Radiotherapy Treatment reviews the scientific literature regarding chemotherapy toxicity.

Dr Goodman and her long-term partner Mike Howell seek individuals with the resources, structural organization and interest to continue and expand the legacy of Positive Health PH Online forward into the 21st century, adding facilities to conduct online seminars, fundraising for alternative cancer research, as well as to promote leading holistic organizations and businesses internationally. Follow her Blog and purchase Nutrition and Cancer: State-of-the-Art. Conrad’s writing career began when he designed and edited a revised edition of the hemp prohibition classic The Emperor Wears No Clothes by Jack Herer in 1990. ConstanceFinley

Constance Finley, founder and CEO of Constance Therapeutics, was inspired by her own personal experience with a chronic illness. After nearly dying from the pharmaceuticals prescribed to help alleviate pain and inflammation caused by a rare autoimmune disease, Finley turned to medical cannabis for relief.

She quickly became fascinated with the science behind the medicinal benefits of cannabis. Studies have found that cannabinoids, like THC and CBD, are more effective when working in tandem with the entire phytochemical profile of the female cannabis flower versus working in isolation – what is known as “The Entourage Effect.” Based on her research, Finley became determined to make standardized, whole plant cannabis extracts that incorporate all the naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids in cannabis, and are safe for those with compromised immune systems.

Prior to Constance Therapeutics, Finley was founder and CEO of Housing Allies, Inc. She pioneered the use of tax credits to create high-quality, aesthetically delightful low-income housing for the working poor and ill, utilizing corporate investments motivated by financial tax benefits. Finley also worked as a clinical psychologist and taught psychology courses at Naropa University, Greeley Junior College and Lone Mountain College. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of San Francisco, where she graduated first in her class, and a Bachelor of Arts in Eastern Studies and Psychology from Lone Mountain College, where she graduated summa cum laude.
